Avocado Fries with Roasted Garlic Dip

Avocado Fries provide a soft inside and a crispy outside. They are a healthy alternative to French fries.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Serves: 2- 4

Ingredients:
• 2 large avocados, sliced
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon Salt
• 1/8 tsp Pepper
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 egg beaten lightly
• 1 cup bread crumbs
• 2 tablespoons oil

Directions:
• Heat oven to 400°F.
• Assemble station with 3 bowls. One for flour, salt and pepper whisked together,
one for eggs lightly beaten, and another for breadcrumbs.
• Slice avocados into thick slices.
• Flour the avocado slice.
• Dip slice in egg.
• Bread the slice with breadcrumbs.
• Place slice on baking sheet and repeat.
• Bake avocado fries for 10 – 12 minutes then flip over.
• Continue cooking 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
• Remove from oven let cool 2 minutes.

Roasted Garlic Dip
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Total time: 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients
• 2 heads of garlic
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 16ounce sour cream
• 4 oz cream cheese at room temperature
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions
• Heat oven to 300°.
• Remove top of garlic to expose cloves and brush with olive oil.
• Bake in foil about 1 hour or until browned.
• Remove from oven and let cool 1 hour then remove cloves from skins.
• Place cloves in mixing bowl and mash mixing with sour cream, cream cheese,
salt and pepper.
• Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.
