A Game-Day Chili Menu

There are few things more satisfying on a crisp afternoon than a warm bowl of chili. If you are looking for an easy recipe that feeds many, chili is definitely the way to go for your game day needs! Experiment with the level of spices used to create a chili that will satisfy your own taste buds. This recipe uses a slow cooker to let the ground beef cook all day. Not only will it make your home smell amazing, but it will let the flavors melt together beautifully.
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 Can Chili Beans
  • 1 Can Black Beans
  • 1 Can of Corn
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper (if desired)
  • 1 tbs Chili Powder
  • 1 tbs Cumin
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

1. Combine ingredients in a slow cooker. Put the thawed ground beef in first, followed by the canned tomatoes, beans, corn, peppers and put the spices on top. You may choose to brown the meat first although it is not required.
2. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Stir occasionally but try not to let too much steam out as this is how your meat gets cooked.
3. Top with shredded cheese and sour cream if desired.
